I received 8 logs from the 2023 Telephone Pioneers QSO party. The results are shown below and are sorted by chapter number.
The 11 Pioneer chapters logged were:
Several participants also logged contacts with non-Pioneer operators, recorded as chapter 0. In some cases the non-Pioneer contacts represented half or more of a participant’s total contacts. All reported CW contacts were with non-Pioneer operators. The average number of unique Pioneer chapters reported was 6.5.
Among the Pioneer chapter logged contacts 82% were on 20 m, 16% on 40 m, and 2% on 10 m.
The highest total score was again achieved by Scott Slater (AG7KO), whose solid signal and hours spent on the 20 m phone band attracted lots of contacts, mostly with non-Pioneer operators.
I hope that all who participated enjoyed the event, regardless of how much time you were able to devote. I will appreciate your comments and suggestions about the future of this event.
